Craig Furstenau Hockey Skills Sessions SUMMERS
We are pleased to bring back Craig Furstenau to Crystal Fieldhouse for another summer of small group hockey training . Craig’s featured staff also trained with Craig before moving up in the hockey ranks !
Craig has been a coach and instructor for over 20 years from the youth level to the pro level . As a head coach , Craig has had 5 state titles and multiple national titles.
Craig has coached and or trained 7 players who have appeared in the NHL (Grimaldi, Trocheck, D.Duke, Nazar , Cotter , Laba, J Chelios) and several NHL draft picks .
Craig has also trained several players who have played for the USA NTDP and has coached multiple world junior medal winners including (Grimaldi, Trocheck , Parsons, D.Duke , Mbereko )
In addition, Craig has helped over 50 players move on to NCAA Division 1 and 3 hockey and even more who have gone on to play junior hockey.
Craig puts a heavy emphasis on mastering the fundamentals of skating posture and form and makes sure each kid is in the best group to promote his or her development.

DESCRIPTION
All training sessions are limited to 6 players per group. We spend roughly 25 minutes every session working on skating specific drills including edges, transitions, stride, and cross overs. The remainder of the sessions are centered around puck skills from stick handling to puck protection and deception.
Cost varies based on number of sessions purchased.
