- LTS BASIC Program Learn Basic Skating Skills
- LTS FIGURE SKATE Skater who has completed the LTS Program or knows Basic Skating Skills
- LTS ADULT Adults 18 years and older (All levels of skating)
- LTS HOCKEY SKATING SKILLS Hockey Skaters who want to improve their skating skills, must have completed the LTS Program or know Basic Skating Skills
- Total 50 minute class, 6weeks: 6:00-6:25pm instruction, 6:25-6:50pm Free time
- First time skaters. Ages 5 and under. Parents can go on ice with their child.
- Total 50 minute class, 6weeks: 6:00-6:25pm instruction, 6:25-6:50pm Free time
- Annual one time program fee 2024/2025 Beginning July 1st 2024 to June 30th 2025
- Learn to Skate Sibling Discount $117 ($130-10%=$117)

Learn to Skate - More Information: Skaters are encouraged to wear comfortable, warm, athletic clothing, a hat and gloves. Protective head-gear is recommended for children. No jeans or bulky clothing and/or hockey equipment. Trained Skating Instructor. Bring your skates or rent skates from Crystal Fieldhouse at Concessions. If the goal is hockey, rent $3 hockey skates each week. If the goal is Figure skating, rent $3 figure skates each week. Weather Cancellations - Crystal Skating Academy will email when any Learn to Skate classes are canceled. Makeup dates will be listed in that email and also on CrystalFieldhouse.com website. Learn to Skate classes are 6 week sessions, and are offered all year long. Once this 6 week session is over they will start another 6 weeks session and so on. Cost is $130.00/six(6) weeks and an annual one time USFS $25.00 fee. Sibling Discount 10% off 2nd child. Crystal Skating Academy (CSA) added the parent & tot class that cost only $73.00. Some kids are more comfortable having their parent on the ice with them and this class is perfect for getting them comfortable on the ice and with their teacher. Learn to Skate Programs are outlined by US Figure Skating and instructed by Professional Skating Instructors. You will see different groups of students with teachers on this ice at the same time. For example you will see in one section of the ice their Basic Learn to Skate class, then in another section of the ice you will see their parent & tot class, then in another section figure skating class, then in another section adult learn to skate class, then in another section is their hockey skating skills class, groups are divided up in different levels of ability and are taught by USFS trained instructors. Classes are 50 minutes on the ice and for ALL ages! Crystal Skating Academy (CSA) is a 501C3 non-profit organization that books the ice with Crystal Fieldhouse and runs their Learn to Skate programs. Skaters can then advance into CSA Figure Skating Club and compete in skating competitions. Some will advance into GFHA Learn to Play hockey or stay with Crystal Skating Academy to improve their hockey skating skills. Crystal Fieldhouse is a sponsor of Crystal Skating Academy and has made donations to Crystal Skating Academy, helping to keep costs low and growing the love of the sport of ice skating.
