Try hockey is a special day where boys and girls can try hockey for FREE by skating, passing, shooting with the help from GFHA members, volunteers, and Crystal Fieldhouse staff. Greater Flint Hockey Association's "Try Hockey Day" event at Crystal Fieldhouse Ice Arena was created to help raise awareness in the youth of our community the love of hockey, where they can see how this sport can be fun and exciting.
Saturday, September 9, 2017 Try Hockey for FREE 10am-12pm. Skate for FREE 12-1pm. Equipment exchange 10am-1pm. Donate your equipment or exchange with others at Crystal Fieldhouse Ice Arena in Burton. Crystal Fieldhouse donates the ice for all Try Hockey for FREE days and skate rentals. GFHA has youth hockey equipment kids can use that day, if you have a helmet please bring, hockey or bicycle helmet. We are accepting donations of hockey equipment that can be dropped off at Crystal Fieldhouse. Times: 10-11am check in helping kids put on equipment and skates, 11-12pm on ice try hockey, 12-1 free skate. Equipment exchange and registration that whole time. COME TRY! and BRING A FRIEND!
